Repeat Prescriptions

medication4If you live more than a mile from a chemists or if you are a visitor not normally registered with the practice, you should take your prescription to the dispensary within the surgery to obtain your medication.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.

If you are exempt from payment please bring the necessary documentation with you. If you are not exempt from payment please have your prescription charge ready.

If your Doctor thinks your case is suitable, he will arrange for a computerised repeat prescription. The dispenser will explain how this works.

Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription directly through this site. Simply click on the link above and you will be redirected to our Prescriptions System. Your prescription will be prepared within 2 working days. It will then be ready to collect from the surgery or sent to your requested chemist.

Please see the appropriate clinician for checks when requested on the right hand side of your repeat prescription.

Our practice is collaborating with NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) which is providing NHS numbers for those patients that may be suitable for electronic repeat dispensing prescriptions. The information is obtained from NHS prescriptions submitted to the NHSBSA. A member of our clinical team will contact these patients soon to explain the benefits of this service.
